Sting

A little project I've been working on during my spare time. I've always loved/wanted one of Weta's swords, so I figured I'd get as close to getting one as I possible could.

Background photo shot with a Nikon D800 w/ 85mm f/1.4, and 35mm f/1.4 lenses.
Modelling and lighting of the sword done in Maya.
Composited together, along with the final colour grading in Photoshop.
